The country's first solid oxide fuel power cell project with coal as raw material was put into operation

A few days ago, the Coal Chemical Research Institute of Jinmei Group announced that the company’s first 15kW solid oxide fuel power cell (SOFC) project built with coal as a raw material in the country is in the Fuel Power Cell Laboratory of Jinmei Group Tianxi Coal-to-Liquid Branch Company Through the whole process, the demonstration project of coal gasification and solid oxide fuel power cell power generation was realized. It is understood that the project is a key scientific and technological project in Shanxi Province-a demonstration project for the development of key technologies and equipment for carbon fuel power batteries. The project technology is jointly developed by the Coal Chemical Research Institute of Jinmei Group, Tsinghua University, my country University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), and Suzhou. Jointly developed by Huaqing. The project is implemented in detail by the Tianxi Coal-to-Liquid Branch of Jinmei Group. The ultimate goal is to establish an overall SOFC demonstration project using coal as raw material. The project team has mastered low-cost, high-performance solid oxide fuel power cell single cell preparation technology, carbon-based fuel power generation module integration and stable operation technology; studied the high-temperature reaction process between high-temperature CO2 and solid carbon, and mastered the continuous fuel Transmission and heat balance management technology; built exhaust gas solution burner, mastered exhaust gas combustion technology; mastered the matching connection between each unit and the overall system connection operation technology.
