Sliver oxide battery
The silver oxide battery is a battery in which silver oxide (AgO) is used as a positive electrode, metallic zinc (Zn) is used as a negative electrode, and an alkaline solution is used as an electrolyte. It has the characteristics of high working voltage, stable discharge, long-time discharge with small current, reliable performance, low self-discharge rate and strong anti-leakage performance. However, because of the high cost of silver, it is generally made into button-type batteries, mainly used in some application industries with high requirements and high cost, the voltage of the silver oxide battery is 1.55V, which is higher than 1.5V of the alkaline battery and 1.35V of the mercury battery, and the voltage is stable during the discharge process, and the voltage of the alkaline battery decreases as the capacity decreases.
