As the first BYD Han EV/DM model equipped with a blade battery, NEDC has a cruising range of more than 600km and will be launched in mid-2020. Recently, news has pointed out that Tesla will use cobalt-free batteries on the domestic Model 3, and lithium iron phosphate batteries are a kind of cobalt-free batteries, which is even more promising; in addition, Guoxuan, which has been devoted to the development of lithium iron phosphate batteries before Gaoke also recently announced in a high profile that the energy density of its lithium iron phosphate battery using the latest technology can reach 200Wh/kg in the test phase. 'By adding special additives in the preparation process of the cathode material, while optimizing the carbon source and particle size matching, the carbon coating, crystallinity, and compactness of the material are improved, thereby increasing the material capacity and compaction density, and at the same time optimizing the battery chemical system. And through the improvement of the PACK process technology and the optimization of the battery pack design, the energy density of the lithium iron phosphate battery has exceeded 200Wh/kg in the experimental stage.'
