Midstream battery material companies such as Fosu and Shanshan have also begun to promote the investment and expansion of lithium battery materials in recent years. Thousands of battery manufacturers have gathered to participate in the production of finished lithium battery downstream battery products. And there are more than 20 domestic companies that can engage in the production of lithium batteries for vehicles. At present, lithium batteries have been widely used in digital fields such as smart phones and tablet computers. As the core component of electric vehicles, lithium batteries for vehicles have also been developed to a certain extent in recent years. Among them, the lithium iron phosphate battery developed and produced by BYD has been successfully applied to a variety of electric vehicles and has achieved long-term stable operation. But in general, there is still a bottleneck of high price and insufficient endurance of lithium batteries for vehicles, which has also led to the delay in the promotion and popularization of electric vehicles. It is understood that the cost of power lithium batteries has accounted for one-third of the cost of electric vehicles. Due to the high price of lithium batteries, the cost of the same type of electric vehicle is half more expensive than that of a fuel vehicle, which also makes people discourage electric vehicles. The lack of endurance is also an important obstacle to the development of electric vehicles. At present, the cruising range of electric vehicles is generally about 150 kilometers, which obviously cannot meet the needs of people for long-distance driving on highways. In order to break through the bottleneck of the development of electric vehicles, some car companies are currently further reducing the cost of batteries through the large-scale production of batteries. Some forecasts point out that by 2020, the cost of lithium batteries for electric vehicles is expected to drop to US$300 kWh. In terms of battery life, you need to look forward to the research and development of new technologies and new materials. Industry insiders pointed out that only by continuously strengthening technological innovation and striving to improve the quality and safety performance of domestic lithium battery products can domestic enterprises be widely used in the field of new energy vehicles.
