On the same day, the first lithium-ion battery processing line with an annual output of 100 million watt-hours was completed and put into operation in the first phase of Hunan Electric General’s project. The new aluminum-rich lithium-ion battery technology jointly developed by the team of Chen Libao, Ph.D. supervisor of Central South University and General Hunan Electric, is the most cutting-edge useable technology in the global new energy category. This technology solves the problems of low power and low temperature resistance of existing lithium-ion battery products. It can still achieve normal and stable charge and discharge at minus 50 degrees Celsius. It is an advanced intelligent energy storage product with high power, high safety and high cost performance. According to analysis, after Hunan Electric General New Energy Co., Ltd. is put into production, it will have 17 fully automated processing lines such as automobile emergency starting power supply, home intelligent energy storage power supply, PACK, etc., with an annual output of 1.2 billion watt-hours of high-power, high-safety aluminum-rich lithium-ion batteries , The output value will reach 12 billion yuan, and more than 3,000 people will be employed.
