Domestic cylindrical batteries have risen to catch up with Japanese and Korean companies. Zhang Xiaodong pointed out that compared with Japanese and Korean battery companies, domestic cylindrical batteries have competitive advantages in terms of cost, product quality, production scale, Ru0026D team and sound industrial chain. 'Our 20C capacity lithium-ion battery is mainly based on 2600mAh, but Panasonic and Sony can discharge 3000mAh and 3500mAh. This is what we have to learn to catch up.' Zhang Xiaodong also reminded that domestic batteries and Japanese and Korean brands are in high positions. There are still gaps in capacity, product consistency, equipment utilization, automation level, and advanced raw materials. From the perspective of development trends, power tools have increasingly higher requirements for lithium-ion batteries in terms of rate, safety, consistency, high capacity and shock resistance. Under this circumstance, the power tool lithium-ion battery market is also undergoing some changes. LG/Panasonic's cylindrical battery production shifts to the automotive sector, the international power tool giant's supply chain shifts to the country, and the supply share of domestic battery companies will further increase. At the same time, silicon-based materials have begun to be mass-produced and applied in the field of power tool batteries, and the NCM811/NCA+ silicon-based material route will achieve higher rates and more high and low temperature resistant products on the market. According to the differentiated requirements of application scenarios (electric capacity, rate requirements), the penetration rate of 21700/26650 in industrial and professional power tools is expected to increase.
