Another 30 billion power battery project landed

On March 13, Ganzhou Municipal People's Government, Ganzhou Economic Development Zone Management Committee and Geely Technology Group Co., Ltd. signed the 'Investment Cooperation Agreement.' The group will invest 30 billion yuan in Ganzhou Economic Development Zone to build a 42GWh power battery project in phases. Geely Technology Group invested 30 billion yuan in Ganzhou to build a power battery project with an annual production capacity of 42GWh (12GWh+30GWh). The first phase of the 12GWh project invested 8.5 billion yuan (including fixed asset investment of 4.5 billion yuan) and 500 acres of land; subsequent 30GWh project investment 21.5 billion yuan (including 11.5 billion yuan in fixed assets investment) and 1,000 mu of land. This is another major achievement of Ganzhou City’s 'project war' and promotion of industrial doubling and upgrading. It is the largest single-investment industrial project in Ganzhou in recent years. It will effectively improve the modernization level of the city’s new energy vehicle industry chain and lead the way. The city's new energy automobile industry has high-quality and sustainable development. Li Shufu, chairman of Geely Holding Group, inspected and exchanged in our city and witnessed the signing.
