24V Battery Charger Schematic

The battery charger was originally designed to meet the needs of some people who want a 24 v battery charger.
The charger is divided into three stages;
Power supply, current limit and float stage.
A 240/24 Vac (rms) transformer is used in this design.
I got about 30Vdc after rectification and filtration.
Therefore, the transformer and diode ratings should be well selected to meet your needs. The transistor U1, Q1 and resistor R1 play a vital role in the current limiting phase;
When U1 is turned on, the gate voltage of Q1 is short-circuited, thus limiting the current through the rechargeable battery.
U1 switches only when the voltage passes through its bottom-
The emitter Vbe is as high as 0. 7V.
If the voltage drop on R1 is as high as 0, the voltage drop on R1 determines this.
U1 is then turned on and I (current through batt) = 0.

When the battery voltage reaches 28Vdc, the floating charging phase begins to function.
In this design, once the voltage reaches 28Vdc, it is large enough to allow the Zener diode to reach the breakdown voltage.
Once completed, U2 is turned on so that the gate voltage of q1 is short-circuited.
Now the charger is a floating charge.
The LED lights up when the battery is full.
Note: In most cases, 6 is selected as 10 v, but 6 v can be selected for the logic mosfet.
