CustomCells has factories in Itzhoe and Tubingen. Michael Steiner said, 'We very much hope that high-power batteries can be used in motorsports, and if feasible, they can eventually be used in high-performance road cars. However, in the huge changes sweeping the entire industry, there is often little room for special battery requirements. At present, most of our battery partners are only focusing on adding new production lines, so our special needs are not their priority at present.' Regarding Porsche's choice of power lithium batteries, we can see from some external information. Not long ago, Porsche announced that it is studying its own battery cell technology, using silicon anode instead of graphite anode, which will enable the battery pack to work comfortably at higher temperatures, making it suitable for high-performance applications.
