In addition, in 2020, CATL’s overseas revenue will be 7.9 billion yuan, an increase of 295.3% year-on-year, and its revenue share will increase from 4% in 2019 to 16%. The important reason is that the sales of new energy vehicles in Europe have risen sharply, which has led to a significant increase in overseas sales of power lithium batteries in the Ningde era. The most important is the 811 system products. The annual report shows that CATL will achieve 44.45GWh of power lithium battery system sales in 2020, which is calculated based on 20% of shipments. This means that CATL will ship at least 8.89GWh of NCM811 batteries in 2020. At this year's Shanghai Auto Show, auto companies including independent brands, new car manufacturers, foreign investment/joint ventures, and traditional brands have unveiled nearly 80 new energy models. According to incomplete statistics, 43 mid-to-high-end new energy models have been equipped with or plan to be equipped with high-nickel batteries. From the perspective of battery suppliers for high-nickel battery models at this auto show, CATL has become the absolute main supplier for Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Honda, Krypton, Polar Fox, Euler, Weilai, Xiaopeng, Nezha, and Zero The main models of running, Zhiji, FAW Hongqi, SAIC Volkswagen and other OEMs are equipped with high-nickel batteries. As the high-nickel battery models launched by the above-mentioned car companies are launched during the year and more models equipped with high-nickel batteries will be launched in the later period, and the sales of high-nickel battery models equipped with high-nickel batteries from the Ningde era have further increased in the Shipments and the proportion of shipments will further increase.
