What is best: the efficiency that people expect from the plug
Hybrid cars.
Worst of all: no spare tire, only inflator kit.
The big battery has to go somewhere, but I\'ll put a gadget in the trunk anyway.
Interesting: modern including luxury cars
Standard features like adaptive cruise control and crossover

Modern may not be the first to join the electrified trend, but they do make the most of it --
Vehicles such as 2018 Ioniq PHEV.
PHEV represents plug and play
In hybrid cars and Ioniq is the brand name of modern dedicated electrical.
In fact, Hyundai offers hybrid, PHEV hybrid and all-electric vehicleselectric (EV)forms.
The only other way to get electrified is the hydrogen fuel cell, which is currently not available in Canada, but Hyundai is testing it.
Therefore, the electric base of the brand has been covered.
Of the three projects, PHEV makes the most sense to me because it doesn\'t just depend on the battery, just like an electric car, or needs a gasoline engine to do most of the work, like a hybrid.
The advancement of Ioniq PHEV is 1. 6-
4-liter direct injection of Atkinson cyclecylinder (
104 HP, 109/foot)
And 45 KW synchronous motor (
60 hp, 125/foot)
For combined power (
164 hp, 195/foot). -
The progress of PHEV is based on 1. 6-
Atkinson Cycle 4 liters-
Cylinder gasoline engine (
104 HP, 109 lb/ft of torque)
Synchronous magnet with 45 KW permanent magnet (
60 hp, 125 lb/ft of torque)
For a combination of 164 horsepower and 195 lb/ft torque.
Electricity is stored at 8. 9 kW lithium-
Ion polymer battery
Driving through a 6-
Speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
The evaluation of fuel economy is 4.
The 5L/100 km uses the battery and the engine in combination, while the battery is only 2.
0Le/100 km is one.
Natural Resources Canada says the average fuel cost for PHEV operations is about $640 a year.
Because the polymer battery can be formed, not plate-like, modern engineers are able to make it fit with minimal intrusion into the cabin and cargo area.
For example, the rear leg space is the same as the 906mm Ioniq hybrid, although the battery of the hybrid is small, the volume of the PHEV cargo is 650 liters, while the hybrid is 750 liters.
In addition, the passenger flow of both is 2,724 liters.
The PHEV came with a charging chord that confused me because one morning when I tried to unplug I pressed the release button and it didn\'t move.
After asking for help from Hyundai, I learned that the plug wouldn\'t be released if the car was locked-stupid me because it was a smart safety precaution. The all-
The electric range and gasoline/hybrid range are displayed on the main meter display. -
Jim Robinson/Metropolitan Hyundai says electric carselectric only)
The range is 47 km, and I\'m sure it takes advantage of all the tricks like taxiing and regenerative braking to the maximum.
However, after charging every morning, the battery life of the electric car shows 27 or 28 km kilometers.
In gasoline engines, however, the overall range predicted was over 900 km-not bad.
Because of the information system, Ioniq PHEV is very communicative in terms of scope.
Press a tab and the map will appear and PHEV is in the center of a circle to let the driver see how far he/she can only go on EV.
Press \"another\" to display a list of all charging stations in the range, arranged in descending order from the nearest start.
Of course, you have to do a little mental math to figure out if you can get to a station that will get you home and hope that the charging port is not used when you get there.
In my case, the nearest one is a Nissan dealer, and I don\'t think they will be too excited to see the modern car charging fast.
My week at PHEV included a long run to see how much I could get from the battery and engine.
There are buttons for \"EV\" and \"Hybrid\" drive mode on the center console, and the rest of the time I choose to use EV and Hybrid in town.
The interior of the modern Ioniq PHEV replaces the traditional master meter set with displays showing various charging rates, range and energy recovery. -
Jim Robinson/MetrolandHyundai said that it can reach 120 km/h in electric vehicle mode alone, but this seems to run counter to the purpose of saving electricity.
My best result is 3.
The sum of 8L/100 km, I will do this any day of the week, and I believe that it is impossible to go deep into \"2 s\" through practice.
A few days ago, my wife commented that I \'ve brought more and more electric cars home these days, and think about it, electrified is no longer a side show, but the mainstream now.
Although there is little possibility of range anxiety and battery breakthrough, electrified has attracted the attention of consumers.
Cars like 2018 Ioniq PHEV are expected to help emerge in a greener world.
